Terms of use
Last updated — see version below · Notice version 2026-09-01
These terms govern your use of this website, our patient portal and our mobile apps. Using them means you accept these terms.
1. What this website is for
This site provides information about our hospitals, doctors and services, and lets you book appointments and access your own records. It is an information and booking service — it is not a medical consultation.
2. This is not medical advice
Nothing on this site is advice about your particular condition. The health library and blog explain conditions in general terms; they cannot account for your history, your medication or your circumstances. Always speak to a qualified doctor before acting on anything you read here, and never delay seeking care because of something on this site.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, do not use this website. Go to your nearest emergency department or call the numbers on our emergency page.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed it. Do not create an account for another adult without their knowledge; add them as a family member instead, and only where they have agreed.
4. Booking appointments
- A slot is held for you for ten minutes while you complete the form. After that it is released to other patients.
- An appointment is confirmed when you receive a reference number. Until then it is not booked.
- Consultation fees are collected at the hospital. We do not take payment on this website.
- Timings can change at short notice because of emergencies or surgery running over. We will tell you as early as we can.
- Please cancel if you cannot attend. The slot goes to someone else who needs it.
5. Teleconsultation
Video consultations are provided in accordance with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines issued under the Indian Medical Council regulations. A teleconsultation is a real consultation with a registered practitioner, and the same professional standards apply.
A doctor may decline to prescribe over video, or may ask you to attend in person, where they judge that examination is necessary. That is a clinical decision and it is theirs to make.
6. What you may not do
- Attempt to access records that are not yours, or another person's account.
- Probe, scan or test the security of the site, or interfere with its operation.
- Scrape or bulk-download doctor listings or content.
- Submit false information, or make a booking you have no intention of attending.
- Upload anything containing malware, or anything unlawful.
7. Content and intellectual property
The text, images, logos and design of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish them commercially or present them as your own.
8. Third-party links
Where we link to another site — an insurer, a government portal, a professional body — we do so for your convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
9. Availability
We aim to keep this site available at all times but cannot guarantee it. Maintenance, failures and connectivity problems happen. The website being unavailable never affects your ability to receive care — the hospital and its emergency departments are open regardless, and the phone numbers on our contact page always work.
10. Liability
We are liable for our own negligence in providing medical care, and nothing in these terms limits that or any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
For the website itself, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, from information on it being out of date, or from it being unavailable.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
