Common questions

What does a second opinion cost?
A second opinion consultation is charged at the consultant’s usual outpatient fee. Our coordinator confirms the amount before you book, and there is no charge for the initial enquiry.
What do I need to send?
Your diagnosis or discharge summary, recent test and scan reports, and the treatment plan you have been given. Our coordinator will tell you exactly what the consultant needs.
How long does it take?
A coordinator calls within one working day. Once the consultant has your reports, an opinion usually follows within two to three working days, or sooner for urgent cases.
Will my current doctor be told?
Only if you ask us to. A second opinion is your decision and your information; we share it with no one without your instruction.
